CrewBrain in numbers – our 2024 recap

At CrewBrain we areo pleased to be able to look back on a successful 2024. In our search for topics for a review of the year, we came across many interesting numbers that we would like to share with you.

More than 1,500 support tickets since July

In July, we put our new ticket system JIRA into operation for processing all our support tickets. Since then, our support team has processed more than 1,500 tickets – that’s an average of 17-20 tickets per day, some with extensive catalogs of questions about the system or complex constellations in time recording. Our support staff spend more than an hour over several days on many of the tickets in order to find suitable solutions for our customers. In total, we have written almost 10,000 response emails for our customers in the tickets and before the ticket system with manual emails. We could answer 80% of all inquiries within less than four hours.

Our support team also gave a total of 153 interested participants an understanding of CrewBrain’s functionality in 75 webinars and answered many questions, some of which were also very extensive. And our phone rarely stands still either: last year we logged 2,874 calls – with approx. 250 working days, that’s more than 10 calls per day and we only log calls that last longer than 15 minutes.

Over 1.8 million working hours

Last year, all our customers together successfully planned more than 40,000 projects in CrewBrain. In these 40,000 projects, a total of almost 600,000 specific jobs (events or shifts) were planned for employees.

A total of almost 30,000 travel expense reports were created and approved in 2024. The front-runner among our customers created over 4,000 expense reports for its employees alone.

The topic of safety is also becoming increasingly important in the event industry. We are therefore all the more pleased that our customers have already created more than 500 risk assessments for their projects via CrewBrain in the past year.

However, the most extensive number of data records is probably in the area of working time recording. Over 1.8 million working times were recorded by our customers in 2024. And here, the frontrunner is impressive too: more than 84,000 recorded working times are attributable to a single company, closely followed by two customers with just over 66,000 working times.

Six major updates

In 2024, we released six major updates with extensive enhancements for the Dekstop version of CrewBrain. In these updates, we implemented 474 tickets, including 115 bug fixes and 359 new features and optimizations.

For the most extensive single feature (our new API, which we will use as the basis for all new developments), we invested almost 400 development hours in 2024. This is followed by our new tender dialog, in which we have invested just over 120 development hours.

Our app also underwent a major update last year. In more than 2,300 hours of development work we did not only a general overhaul of the user interface, but also added great new features such as geo-fencing for the time clock.
