Dear clients,
Prolight + Sound – one of the leading trade fairs especially for event technology – will take place in Frankfurt, Germany next week. We will be present with CrewBrain in hall 12.0 at booth A73 and will introduce a major new features during the show, which I would like to present to you already today as part of an update info.
With risk assessments we are expanding our spectrum in the area of work safety by an extremely important aspect. Since this is a very extensive feature and some of the settings have to be set up individually per client, it is unlike our normal updates not automatically available to all clients. If you are interested in using this featre, please contact us.
We wish you continued success with CrewBrain

Risk assessmentsUntil now, the creation of risk assessments was mostly a matter of large Excel templates. With CrewBrain, we want to simplify this process and offer the possibility to create assessments for individual jobs and projects easily and quickly based on the activities, locations and vehicles used. |
|
Find & evaluate risksFirst, all possible risks must be identified and evaluated. This can be done either globally (Administration > Work Safety) or individually for each activity (staff category), location or vehicle. CrewBrain automatically creates a library of risks so that once risks have been identified, they can be used for other assessments. |
Define measuresAfter finding & evaluating the different risks, various measures can be defined for each of them. They're meant to reduce the risk of injuries. The risk is then re-evaluated so that an evaluation before and after the measures can be seen. |
Assessments for jobs & projectsOnce the individual assessments for activities (staff categories), vehicles and locations have been created, they can be directly reused within jobs & projects to create a summary assessment for the specific assignment. CrewBrain first lists the assessments of all elements used in the job or project and offers the option of combining them into a comprehensive assessment. This can then be reviewed and, if necessary, supplemented and is then available for all employees to view both as a printout and via the CrewBrain app. |
Approval and review processA status is automatically saved for each risk assessment, which can also be used to send it "for approval". There are also automated notifications, so that the assessments for vehicles, activities and locations must be regularly checked by the respective person responsible and, if necessary, adapted to new circumstances. |
Print view and CrewBrain appEach risk assessment can, of course, also be exported as a PDF or shared with employees via the CrewBrain app. In this way, the information contained therein and, above all, the measures to be observed are available to all persons involved. |
Future extensionsFor the future, we would like to digitize the activities related to risk assessments even further. This includes, for example, the possibility of automatically documenting participation in safety briefings via our app. |
