New CrewBrain update: contracts, dashboard & more!

The last major CrewBrain update is already some time ago, so we are pleased to be able to present you with another new version today. We are currently working a lot in the background, for example on version 2 of our API and a revision of the entire user interface. Nevertheless, there are now a whole series of optimizations and additions that we would like to present to you in this update info. As usual, the update will be available tomorrow.

Contracts

Since the beginning of the year, contracts can be signed electronically in CrewBrain. We already introduced the basic functions for this with the last update, and now there are a few more optimizations and additions.

Own signatures

Your own signature can also be applied to the documents. For this purpose, a document category “Signature” is created and a signature is stored for each employee in the documents with this category.

Field for the city

For all signatures, the city is now requested in addition to the name of the person signing. Together with the date, all relevant information is now available and can be applied to the contracts.

Calculation

The cost estimate for a job or project can now also be sent to the customer for signature. In this way, the final approval for implementation can be obtained from the customer based on the calculation.

Filing of employment contracts

If employment contracts are sent to employees and digitally signed by them, they will also be stored in the employee’s documents in future and can be permanently accessed there.

Dashboard

As of this version, there are two useful new widgets for the dashboard: rejected working hours and unsigned contracts.

Rejected working hours

This widget shows a list of all rejected working times that have not yet been corrected and resubmitted. Employees can see their own times, while administrators can also see the times of employees. In this way, missing corrections can be requested quickly and easily.

Unsigned contracts

If contracts are sent out for signature, this widget can be used to check which contracts have not yet been signed by the customer or an employee. In this way, customers can simply be asked to sign again.

Time recording

The hourly wage is now displayed for payouts in time recording. This makes it easier to record payments. For companies with employees in the temporary employment environment, a list of jobs rejected by the employee is also displayed in time recording, for which no hours may have to be guaranteed by the employer.

IntelliEvent synchronization

In addition to the many and extensive synchronizations with many rental management systems that we have implemented in recent years, this version also includes the sync with IntelliEvent. The rental management system from the USA is now also compatible with CrewBrain and the order and project data, including personnel requirements, can be transferred from IntelliEvent.

Further optimizations

As usual, we have also made many other minor optimizations that we would like to mention here.

Tenders

The tender feature has been optimized for sending to large groups so that the loading time for users is reduced when “Select all” is clicked.

Notifications

In future, notifications of changes in main jobs (e.g. new documents) will also be sent to employees in sub-jobs.

Base data filter

There is a new filter for blocked accounts in the master data.

iCal export

The iCal export has been expanded to include the respective personnel category.

Additional information & text templates

There is a new text box for additional information without access to text templates. In this way, sensitive information from the text templates can be hidden from employees.

Our roadmap

For some weeks now, our roadmap has been available directly in CrewBrain under the menu item Administration > Roadmap. The roadmap is initially activated for all administrators, but can also be activated for other users via the user groups. All topics suggested by customers can be viewed and voted on via the roadmap – we look forward to your votes and feedback!
